The only positive is we are not two goals behind. I am not sure Rico is bad considering where and how he's been asked to play. Their press is relentless and it is disappointing Pep gave up controlling this game, so it makes it easier for them to press us. Haaland was surprisingly good at bagging the long balls but KdB , Mahrez and Grealish are no runners. I know Haaland is scoring but the whole season has been write off fitting him in.

A game that’s not sparked yet. We are looking passive and letting them impose themselves more than we usually let other teams.

Not sure the inverted system is working tonight, Kev not really anyplace in midfield where he’s hugely involved, we are ending up giving them too much freedom .

Needing a Pep tweak and a half time rocket to get things kick started.

I remain confident of an improvement second half and think the Viking will make the difference.

We don't have a style of play anymore

We do. Sadly it’s slow, slow, slow, slower. Technically we’re much better than these but in terms of intensity and speed we’re a long way behind them.
Play with the intensity and speed of the last 3 years and we win this easily. Unfortunately it’s looking like that’s beyond us at this point in the season. Still onwards and upwards and we’ve often got a blinding second half in us!!

Not for me. Had a couple of good runs forward but final pass has let him down. Overhit crosses, not releasing the ball early enough and basically being little threat to the Arsenal goal.
