Just once let’s see one of our wide men act like a traditional winger and try and go round the outside. At worst it would make the fullback think.

Pep obviously doesn’t want them to do that though or they’d be on opposite wings.

Well Mahrez and Grealish both look garbage.

As did KDB and Gundogan. In fact they pretty much all played it safe, so I can only assume that they are under instructions to do so.

Need a bit more pace, guile and vigour. Alvarez, Foden and Bernardo need to be getting warmed up.

Thought Ake had a stormer of a half there.

We're lacking in pace but that was expected from the line up and it shouldn't matter against a team playing compact and deep. We do need some urgency and unpredictability, so Alvarez would be a good choice. I hate these flat games against deep defensive opposition trying to hit us on the counterattack. I'm sure Pep will charge things, but it's up to the team to raise their game.

Yeah Grealish and Mahrez should get ten minutes second half to have an impact or get hooked

Both take too many touches.
The ball should be moved quicker.
They’re both so predictable.

Grealish was the most fouled player in the league at Villa.
Why? Because he spends too long on the ball.
At City, the ball needs to do the work. Keep it moving quickly and let your own movement be more off the ball than on it.

Pep NEEDS to swap some things around. Gomez on for Stones, Canelo to the right. Will make us so much better going forward.

Getting tits out Jackie on for grealish would also make us so much more of an attacking threat
