I've no problem with the idea that Bayeen are a better side than us and clearly having a goalkeeper in shocking form doesn't help, but Pellegrini's tactics tonight have been absurd. Idiotic stubbornness that will cost is massively as we will now have no confidence whatsoever.

I agree. Barca are a vastly better side than Cletic, yet they didn't get played off thge pitch even though they were down a man. They played hard. With confidence. Our boys don't fight.

Honestly, Pellegrini is one of the smartest coaches in the game. He obviously saw our midfield get run over for 70 minutes. But to not make a change, I don't feel like formational changes are in his hands. I think the Spanish duo is demanding the tiki-taka fluid 4-4-2 and it's not Pele's choice.
