That was quite painful.

Walker and Stones are all over the fucking show. When Stones isnt fit, he is the most unfit player I have ever seen. Get Walker off, Rico to RB and Gvardiol on.

Not impressed with the Gundo/Kova partnership, Brentford have been able to play through them far too easily.

KDB and Savinho have been a threat. Grealish back in his shell.

Haaland is just ridiculous.

Brentford playing really well going forward, but we've pulled ourselves back in the lead. We could well go on and win this bu 3 or 4, gaining 12 points from the first 4 games and there'll still be people on here moaning.

Let's not forget it's the first game back after International duty. Brentford played out of their skins and are still losing. Early goal in the 2nd kills the game. Rodri on, on the hour of it's still 2-1. We've got about 9 gears to go through here. Sav is fucking brilliant

Walker has been bad, but Stones has been a nightmare today. The worst performance that I remember from a City defender in a while.

Our pressing hasn't been the best. Haaland, Ederson and Savinho extremely good. But I want to give credit to Brentford, they have been fantastic and they deserve mlre than what they got. Sometimes the opponent just plays really good.

Pretty fun half. Brentford started like a house on fire but after about 10 mins we stopped them playing in our half and asserted our dominance. We'd be out of sight if that Brentford lad hadn't taken the ball in the stomach but that killed the momentum a bit. Since then it's been bitty and nothing's really happened.

Haaland is unbelievable this season. Working tirelessly, throwing his weight around, and still having the sharpness to finish those two chances. Unbelievable that he's on for a third consecutive hat-trick - what we're witnessing is truly unbelievable. If Stones and Walker could put the right shoes on for the second half we shouldn't have much to worry about.

Brentford still tidy though, even if they are running out of legs a bit. They'll keep us honest. Would love to see Rodri soon, just to give us that bit of confidence that things can stay steady.
