He simply isn’t a defender. But lacks physicality at this moment to play in midfield. Probably going to get pelters for this but I think it’s going to be difficult for him to ensure his career is mostly at City. Sure, he’ll be a utility player for a few more years maybe, but I think there’ll come a point in the not too distant future where he leaves.
He's not a right back, but he looks good in the middle.
He's still young so needs time to grow still, but you can see he's got something.
He looks composed when he has the ball and i can't see him leaving us anytime soon.

Fairly shocked at the overall negative reaction. Celtic have their first team out and are naturally a decent team and working space well.

The youngsters have done well, nico looks like he has a good touch and Mcatee finding some great pockets of space.

Haaland has missed a couple of chances so fairly even game and some great link up play.
You do realise this is a match day thread?

:)

Can't judge anything on this. Lots of players look like they are a week into pre season and a lack of touch.
Kids at the back are not used to this. Can't tell if Kalvin is up for it as he looks like General Custer atm.
Lewis looks really good, Bobb not so much. Shame about Nico, but he is only 18. Imho.
