He's done fine. People who are expecting him to match pace with Hazard/Willian and the like are delusional and nobody in their right mind expected this.

His job is to stand up and win the ball in midfield in one on ones and he's done pretty well in this respect. Not to chase the down and win the ball

As you so put it, wake the fuck up. You're annoyed that he's not doing a job that nobody asked him or expected him to do.

Pellegrini asked and expected him to do it. It isn't working, so change it.
