Sure it looks stupid, but you often see them go in.

Not massively different to putting it to the side and them guessing right IMO.

One of those that looks awful when you miss. Some of the abuse on here is embarrassing

Don’t you think he wanted to score? He’s got the chance of further cementing himself as a legend by taking Rooney’s club record. He’s got the chance to prove himself for selection in the UCL final.

Is it any worse than the several penalties we’ve missed this season? Arguably looks worse, but none of them hit the net.

Have a feeling some on here were 8 years old in 2012 and have no respect for our club’s greatest player
