the commentator mentioned that we were playing pretty much our strongest possible line up, while i understand what he was saying the truth is we only have 4 of our best starting 11 on the pitch tonight. Zabba, Kompany, Yaya & Silva

No Fern no Nas no Serge no Negredo no fucking common sense these commentators..

Although he has played well I wish Dzeko would take his falling over more seriously. With Dowd the ref he will get nada.

Like the way we play, gave up some of the flair for stability, that was needed. Lot of hard work done by Milner/Silva/Yaya, also Garcia of course even Jovetic/Dzeko can do some tracking back. This is what we need, work so much, stop them creating chances.

What I would like to see some better wingplay, Zab/Milner should do a littlbe better vs Azpilicueta, on the left Clichy is very alone, Silva comes inside just like Jovetic, most Clichy can do is some crosses from deeper positions, thats OK given the situation.
On the right we should improve, of course they have to defend well vs Hazard as well.

Chelsea still didnt turn it really on, maybe the fear of us doing some great counters stopped them to open up more and attack more, really hope we wont concede any stupid goal from a long shot, corner, freekick, owngoal.

Only these kind of golas could hurt us now until they open up. After that we have to create some counters and turn it into a goal.

Come on City!

We looked great in that half - better on the ball than we have in a long time. Determined, smart, incisive, full of intention. We were aggressive in the midfield - doing our best not to give Hazard and their attackers an inch. Kompany is leading us strongly - is not having a loss today under any circumstances - of course he gets the yellow on an awful decision which forces him to slightly hold back, ruining the way he wants to play on those aggressive run up tackles - but hopefully he continues to boss them. Yaya looks UP FOR IT, Milner putting in a shift, Dave seeing the field well, Edin holding it up nicely and had a nice effort that was saved, though he should've gotten a boot on that last chance I have no problem with his first half, and JOJO looks a PLAYER. Exciting stuff from him. Joleon had maybe one mistake but otherwise has been strong. This is how we should look.

How will maureen try to throw a wrench in this? Probably by trying to use our aggressive approach against us and getting us carded out of the game.. you know the refs will oblige. We need a quick one in the second half to put it to bed.

COME ON CITY!

Hazard scares the shit out of me every time he gets on the ball.
If we keep him quiet second half we will win this. We are better in every other department tonight.

I agree they're fuckall without Hazard if we can stifle his influence 2nd half and get a quick game killing goal it's all over.

He's had a quiet first half. Zabbas kept an eye on him. Still he can turn a game in a second so we need to be wary. We really could do with that second goal.

City 4-0 Chelsea. Jovetic 3x and Milner. I am an optimist ;)

It is still possible.

I'm not gonna start celebrating just yet. Mourinho's teams are well known for getting absolutely dominated and then scoring from their one or two shots of the game.
I read that in a Winston Wolf style!

Keane did observe that we were fielding a significantly weakened lineup tbf pity the rest are not on his wavelength.

Mourinho is using Guardiola formation, 3 attacking midfielders up front without a target man.
