Great goal from The Beast and an incredible pass to set up an Aguero chance.

Can't blame Hart for their goal, Lescott was simple ripped by Lukaku. Apart from that Lescott has played well.

Another impressive attacking display, shame that our only defensive lapse resulted in a goal.

You fucking can blame Hart!

Hart....shaky, at best.

don't know what's up with him...he's better than that.

And just to be clear, the goal was not Joe Hart's fault.

No , it wasn't Harts fault ..... we had chances to stop the Everton scorer before it got near Hart , but completely fucked up .

Kompany injured again? I wasn't able to watch until near halftime. How bad was it?

He just stopped, signalled to the bench and sat down. Doesn't look good.

We've improved in attack, and regressed in defence. Bit of a trade-off I suppose.

Kolarov is actually looking a decent footballer. Negredo is just a beast, miles ahead of anything Dzeko can afford - great buy. Great to have Merl back, top assist.. Fernandinho linking defence and attack with aplomb. Yaya continuing his run of form.

Conversely, Lescott looks terrible shaky. Zaba beaten a few times. Hart making too many mistakes, should've saved that Lukaku goal. Midfield not offering defence enough protection,
Kolarov looks rejuvenated under the new manager. I can't blame that goal on Hart. Kompany and Lescott are responsible.

Negredo is impressive. Most impressive.

No. Abandoned by the defence again. Got down well but if a player has a free shot at you from 6 or 7 yards, you won't stop it.

Aguero - well, the entire world knows his qualities (though he appears to be struggling a bit). END OF.

Negredo - while jury is still out in EPL, he does look like a REAL DEAL.

Dzeko - while some people woman about his consistency, this is the guy that put up what - 15 goals per season last two seasons (and will probably do so again). How many strikers in EPL have done that?? So how about consistency again?

So there - just fucking drop it - whoever is on the pitch we should get behind, everything else is WASTE OF TIME.

The jury came back in weeks ago and declared him "fucking brilliant"

I'll pound the gavel for that.

The shot from Lukaku was very close to his body. A top class keeper saves that.

I hate to say it as I'm a big supporter of the bloke, but he needs a spell on the sidelines.

Man City 2-1 Everton
MOTD's Steve Wilson at the Etihad
"From the first minute of the half to the last, it's been great stuff and action-packed. City lead 2-1 and are a bit lucky to do so."

Really? We've had all the chances, Everton threatening on the break but actually created very little clear cut.
