At what point does the conversation seriously have to happen that this City side are better than peak Pep Barca?

Now I remember watching that Barca side with Iniesta, Messi, Busquets, Xavi and thinking that is just unbelievable football, that nothing could ever come close to how incredible that team was. Pornographic football.

But bugger me…we could be watching something even more special here.

My best mate is a lifelong Liverpool supporter. I watched them in his house last night with his two Liverpool supporting sons.

He reckons that similar to how he enjoyed Barca when they were great, this City team are in the same category. He’s already conceded the league and they all think City will win it at a trot. (Early days, but that’s where their heads are at)

They love the football we’re playing purely as fans of the game. They think it’s being brought to a new level.

I've been saying for years that Palmer is mustard. He's going to be immense for us.

I know he's rusty but Mahrez frustrates the hell out of me. Palmer looks way better and he's not had game time with us either.
