My best mate is a lifelong Liverpool supporter. I watched them in his house last night with his two Liverpool supporting sons.

He reckons that similar to how he enjoyed Barca when they were great, this City team are in the same category. He’s already conceded the league and they all think City will win it at a trot. (Early days, but that’s where their heads are at)

They love the football we’re playing purely as fans of the game. They think it’s being brought to a new level.

He needed time to adapt. Same as Cancelo and Rodri, neither of whom pulled up too many trees in their first season.

I said he’d be better 2nd season. Most players take a while, Erling being the exception that proves the rule!! :-)
