Cancelo gave the ref an oppertunity, rank bad defending, red card harsh but it was a penalty
Sorry sir the red wasn't harsh - he was last man and denying a goal scoring opportunity.
Lot of lads in 101 suggesting handball in the build up
Tis what it is, and we have to find a way to win this

I was excited when we signed Grealish, even if he was overpriced, because I think he's a top player and I imagined him slotting nicely into our midfield. But Pep seems determined to play him as a winger.

Who did we think we were signing? He's never been a pacey winger, or a goalscorer. He's a brilliant creative player who does his best work between the lines, not stuck out wide.

If we genuinely bought him as a Sterling replacement, rather than an 8, then someone wants sacking.

For fucks sake, play him in the middle.

Cancelo stands off and they score, and you all talk about him being too soft, I guarantee. Had to attempt for a challenge, he went for a shoulder to shoulder. Ref saw it as a pen. Wouldn't call it unfortunate but it wasn't "braindead" ffs.
Nope, it's always better to let the player through and compete with 11

Than take him down, bank on a missed penalty, and have your backs against the wall the rest of the match.

I know the rules but thought it was shoulder to shoulder within playing distance if the ball and no foul.
I understand, but I'm leaning more towards shoulder to the back of the player. The part I'm most puzzled about is their opinion that it's a pen, but red is harsh. You must give a red according to LOTG.

You are dumb if you don’t think that. Plenty games last season where he was out best player.
Yeah when we didn't have him 1v1 at the back...thats the point. He's only good going forward.

But blue tinted glasses, which I own myself, can't ignore the actual laws of the game. This double jeopardy rule is not open to interpretation like many of the other laws are.
double jeopardy? this is football not crown court

No but whether it was or wasn’t a foul is subjective.
