Let's not forget Jesus's involvement in the build up to the penalty either!

Stones is starting to impact our build up play more and more. It makes everything so much smoother!

Finished with the Christmas lights around the house, had a few drinks as well, now is a good time to enjoy my time and a proper City second half. Lovely evening.

Not just Sterling but also KDB. Do people think KDB is waltzing through the midfield because Fulham just forget he is playing? Jesus is dragging them all over the place to create the pockets KDB is getting into.

Rodri has also been excellent at putting KDB into those pockets when they open up.
Some people really don't have a fucking clue

There can be no complaints about the usual suspects. Everyone played really well. Sterling maybe a bit wasteful but he’s got a goal and a penalty won

One of the things I think about Cancelo is that he adds another risk taker in our attack to replace some of the probing Silva gave us. Early in the season it was basically all KDB taking risks. Pep has had Rodri drop into the back 3 so he’s able to pass facing forward and with both fullbacks now more attacking we just have a few more players trying to create as opposed to leaving that responsibility to others

Good half. The general build-up was almost back to our best. Solid defensively, but for a couple mistakes from Mendy and a moment of miscommunication that almost ended in calamity between Stones and Ederson.

The build-up and chances created deserved more goals. We should have completely killed the game in those first 45 minutes. More evidence to add to the stack that we are lacking up top. Overall though, as good as we can honestly expect. Hopefully more of the same in the second half.

Totally dominant half and overall a good performance.

Great to finally see Sterling get involved in a game. Still very wasteful, especially in any passing move but a goal and winning the penalty will do.

Mahrez somewhat gone back to his FFS status.

I still don’t like Gundogan at 8. He hasn’t particularly done anything wrong but it’s just all very safe. The number of time he picks the ball up in 15 yards of space with his back to goal but gives it to a centre back is unreal. Maybe I have been spoiled having Silva there, who was always on the half-turn and looking to be progressive. I would much rather have Foden in there, especially against this level of opposition.

Stones and Rodri have been good again.
