What?!! His running off the ball, stretching their defence, plus his energy, I’d say yeah, he definitely IS playing.
Jesus will generally be judged on goals but his work rate is the best on the pitch. I would put him & Kev as motm that half.

You generally need to watch Jesus when he’s not got the ball to see what he does.

Playing with loads more energy and we look miles better for it.

Some poor ends to moves and poor finishing though.

Better but still miles off yet.
Which is actually a good sign — the last thing we want is for this to be our best.

It’s the parable about the two runners that have almost the exact 100m time, one has great great form, the other with horrible form.

You don’t invest your time in the player with great running form.

442 with 2 false 9s, Peps reinvented us again.

I like it. Fullbacks provide width, and the strikers are also midfielders. Wingers must score in this system and if they dont, it doesnt work.

Good to see us continued on from last week. Hopefully we can kick on in the second half.

Good luck picking a motm for this one so far. Between KDB, Jesus with his movement, Sterling, Mahrez is playing well and looks a different player the last 2 games, Cancelo and Gundogan is dictating the game well.

Mendy is finally looking like the player we paid so much for. He looks a lot fitter.

Much better by us, you can see the confidence coming back. Look solid at the back and Kev’s worked out their interesting defensive set up. Jesus working really hard.

Superb first half.

Everyone working for each other,KDB and Gundogan have done particularly well at pressing and recovering. The defence hasn't had much to do but Dias just oozes authority and class.Mahrez looks like he has carried his form/confidence into this game too.

Jesus is playing a brilliant team game, open your eyes if you are being critical.
what marhez has finally started to do in the last few weeks is choose the right pass, instead of always being a greedy fuck

Pep needs to remind them not to be complacent. Look what happened to Southampton when they were 2-0 at ht against inferior opposition.
