Just because Walker isnt prime Cafu doesnt mean he hasnt been a bloody good player for us & will continue to be an important player for us
One for the football cliche thread but it’s been “men versus boys”.Strange half that. I don’t think we’ve even been that good but couldn’t be any more comfortable. Leicester are terrible and if I was a Leicester fan watching that lack of fight, I would be really concerned.
Haaland is just a machine but other than that, I don’t think any of our players have been anything special. It looks like a testimonial out there.
If I was being picky, I would say that our right hand side is ridiculously negative. Walker can’t have made more than 10% of his passes forwards and Mahrez looks like he’s on the beach.
The positives are that we are winning in 1st gear and before a big CL game it’s about as easy as we could wish for.
Cancelo was the best last season…Come on mate, he was the best full back in the world 2 seasons ago
Whilst I take your point, I think the very fact that Erling is playing would make them nervous and possibly more prone to make mistakes. We don't need more goals vs Bayern though and Alvarez's pressing is insane so arguably should start ahead of Erling midweek.
He’s no Nunez!45 mins and Haaland only has 2. Pffttt Dud
He’s going to slap one in with his dick in the second half mark my wordsJust because Walker isnt prime Cafu doesnt mean he hasnt been a bloody good player for us & will continue to be an important player for us
Agreed but Bernardo knows how these refs work by now. He picked up a similar yellow midweek. Pep won't be happy and I think he'll take him off early enough 2nd half for a number of good reasons.Could easily have been a couple of Leicester players booked for fouls on Grealish, but England thought they were fine challenges, but Bernie's wasn't???
England is a CHEAT.
