The kids haven't been their best but they've been no worse than Fernandinho and Mendy.

Overall it's been poor across the team. However, Leicester are almost full strength and we're a mix of the B and youth squad.

Leicester look fitter and mostly full strength.

Edozie has bottled his chance. I reckon hooked at half time for Jack. Palmer some nice touches but some poor loss of possession. Ferna and Gundogs weight of Pass fucking awful. We should be 2 down. Play like that again 2nd half and we can't win this. Disappointed tbh we've been piss poor.

Looking rusty.

Interesting to see Mendy attempting that new inside full back role like Zinchenko and Cancelo. Edozie looks like he's not quite on the wavelength of some of his teammates at times, and shows the sort of decision-making you'd expect from an 18-year-old. Palmer not really in the game, but against a strong midfield.

They've definitely had the best of the first half in terms of chances.

• Considering the teams both sides have, we've done ok.
• Steffen, Ake, Dias have all done very well in defence
• Mendy looks very good in possession. Looks like he's playing the Zinchenko role too
• Palmer and Edozie have been a bit fazed, but have both had a couple good moments
• Torres struggling to get involved
• Fernandinho hasn't been at his best with the ball. Still good without it though.

We are just short of sharpness and it should be no surprise with the lack of pre-season. Palmer will be a class act. Fern and Mendy to step it up.
