Fernando has absolutely ran that half, cleaning up and distributing all half long. Clichy and Kolarov brilliant too.

He has been very good. Has really improved with training and settling in.

Pelligrini must be laughing. We have a seriously good squad of players. Give most of these players match time (in the cups as mentioned before) which ought to keep them happy and sharp. A strong defence of the title on the cards.

Another very encouraging first half from the team. Jovetic is the man, Zuculini is comfortable and I dont see why he cant be involved this season in some capacity. Fernando looks like the proper holding midfielder we have been looking for since Dejong and even the CB pair have been dominant. Clichy also impressive.

The only downside is that we are not a goal or two up but the state of the team is clear for all to see. We are in good shape.

If we play like that in the second half we should be able to put some of those crosses away, the pitch was shite so the ball was never getting across the box, if we don't win I won't even be that bothered because that was as one sided a half i've seen for a while

Good half but end product missing. Not like their keeper had to make big saves.

Will Rodwell will get a full half or only 10 minutes again? While Zuculini who is going out on loan in a week maybe gets lot more playing time. I cant see the logic in it if we plan to keep Rodweel and loan out Zuculini.
Just as Jovetic needs the match fitness Rodwell needs it too.

Probably we are selling him and dont want him to get injured like Richards as Clichy starts in RB when he wont play there even for a game probably behind Zab/Sagna.
