Pisses me off every time pundits say we have a cheat squad with two full teams that could win the league. We do t have that much depth really and circumstances meant that Liverpool were always going to muller us today. Deep down I think we all knew that. There’s no chance that we could be away versus them at home, us kicked by Atletico versus them being able to rest players for their bye to next round, us getting injuries and them getting none… and us not losing by 3, 4 or more. It’s probably been even worse than we could have expected though, so 5+ can’t be ruled out and that’s when it get into the territory where it can impact the league.
I couldn’t agree more. Disappointing as that first half has been it’s very very clear which team has had the physically and mentally draining trip to hell 4 days ago and which team have had their feet up.

Wasn't the chanting coming from the concourse from fans who weren't even on the terrace yet?

Anyway, fucking dreadful performance. Worst in years.

I can’t believe the shock at this performance (especially those in the bbc studio) many predicted it on ere, a few expected it & Pep would’ve known before KO it was possible, suppose we’ll only know come the end of the season whether taking a hit in this game was worth it
