One has to understand the toll Atletico game took on our players while the Liverpool played along with Benfica kids.
I prefer winning the PL then focusing on CL and we had the unfortunate luck of facing Liverpool in FA cup too. Mind it there may be a CL final upcoming.

But what it clearly states that we don’t a squad everyone accused us of having. The one with two world class players in each position. That is never true. We need Haaland, we need a CDM and we need a LB.
What this game has clearly exposed is that only Haaland won’t be the best of ideas even though the entire universe will pretend that we would be winning all things under the umbrella.

This squad is not that strong. In times like this, it really showed.
