You pick the system to suit your players, not vice versa.

Fernandinho has been poor this year and is too slow to play at centre half. Walker can't play wing back, and Gundogan and Rodri aren't going to win enough balls in midfield as a two. We concede the same goal every week and Guardiola can't sort it out.

Lots of questions if we lose this tonight.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what formation you play if Kyle Walker is going to stop playing and become a spectator when someone plays a ball in behind, and just watch his man tap the ball in from a rebound - after playing the runner onside in the first place.

Of course they won't. My point is that they weren't busting a gut praising us. And yes;I agree 100% with your analysis of proceedings so far tonight. But we have the ability and the players to turn it around. I reckon we'll do it.
