On the other hand, if Pep came out to attack and we gave up 2 goals off of our usual way of conceding goals Pep would be ridiculed as naive as well.

Lyon were going to be a problem no matter what for how we play, they play, our weaknesses, their strengths.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what formation you play if Kyle Walker is going to stop playing and become a spectator when someone plays a ball in behind, and just watch his man tap the ball in from a rebound - after playing the runner onside in the first place.

I like him but that's the worst thing he's ever done in a City shirt.
And Kyle knows it.

Pep gave him an earful during the VAR review delay.

Let’s hope it spurs him on to play a blinder in the second half.

He didn‘t change anything. First player they show is Gundogan nice.

We’re in trouble here.
Absolutely nothing through the centre.
No support, nothing to aim at. All out to the wing and back again.
Get Fern off.
Put Kev in the middle.
I’d get Gundo off too but Pep never does.
We really are struggling.
It’s not our game. Don’t recognise this football at all.
Laporte and Walker didn’t cover themselves in glory for their goal. Neither followed their man.
Defence looked like they’d just been introduced to each other.

I fear the worst, but hope Pep changes things quickly.
