Kovacic, Foden, Akanji and Walker have been excellent. The only knock was two iffy passes from Ederson that put Alvarez under pressure. Gvardiol seems like he's trying to find his way, it will come for him.

good stuff but Jack, who I love, is leaving a lot to be desired for me. The only concrete things he ends up doing is a blocked shot, a lay off for rodri to recycle possession, or a blocked cross. End product is so poor.

It's the end product which is missing from grealish, I think he got away with it last season as he showed improvement in general play and there were so many other players bringing the goals and assists, now he needs to show up with some assists and goals, not just shoot at players, so frustrating that run from walker and the pass to grealish in space and he took it to the line and couldn't cross past the 1st man.
