Deserves a good answer.

He is the best spot kicker going around in the premiership at present since Bale left.

The dip on that ball once it hit its peak was unbelievable - defied Newton's first law of motion almost.

Hate to say it, but Rooney has a very similar and equally excellent free kick technique. Probably the best part of his game these days.

Wasn't it until this summer he said he never really took them as he never practised them etc, and this pre season he put a lot of hours in practising his free kicks, which appears to have paid off.

Yaya used to take free kicks for olympiakos, does anyone remember him ripping us to pieces in a pre season friendly? im sure he scored at least one free kick that day
