As bad as it gets , gifted two goals and missed a couple of easy chances , Dias having an absolute mare and should have been sent off , Akanji head is all over the place , Rico & Haaland missed two sitters. We need Stones & Ake on , Gvardiol to centre back alongside Stones and hook both Dias & Akanji , Ake to left back.
Foden cant get in the game , would switch him to the right wing and put Bernardo in the middle , need to change this about if we are to get anything from the game.
Give Jack 15 minutes and if nothing is happening bring Doku on , we get this right in the 2nd half we can put a few goals on this lot , Haaland will be seething a half time , he mis-controlled a great pass from Rodri and ballooned one over the bar.
Come on City lets have these German tw*ts , 2nd half.

That's the worst I've seen us in a long long time!

The only positive to take from that half of football is we are only 2-0 down.

To be fair, despite being piss poor we should have got one if not two goals already. Poor first touch from Erling and Rico just needed to pass the ball into the net. Dias had a really good opportunity with his head as well.

And we had a couple of other half chances.

Rocket up the arse at half time, maybe one or two changes and still fancy us to get a couple of goals. The worry based on tonight is that they’ll also score more.

Wish we could see Gvardiol in the Stones role with Ake on the left. Gvardiol seemed like the perfect guy to bring in to learn and succeed in that role. I’ll never question Pep, but it feels he keeps trying make Akanji into something he’s not.

This is a good test for City. Would rather have them face adversity now than in the knockout stages.
