So we're playing Sterling as a striker? WHY? i get it its preseason but why not put nacho there and let sterling assume the left wing role. The lad doesn't strike me as a striker/lethal finisher . Iheanacho looks amazing there tho.
 
Sterling playing as a false 9 in his second match for us againt Real Madrid? Interesting choice for MP.
 
Will be good to see Delph, and especially that he can be the 'runner' in that midfield, with Fernando doing the cover and Yaya being Yaya. Looking forward to this as I missed both previous friendlies (gonna download it soon). The only thing I'm 'sad' about is Kelechi not playing. Sterling wasn't particularly great in the striker role for Liverpool, though he was still their best last year...

Big shout from Manuel playing Cameron and Denayer in CBs.
 
What better opposition to make a name for themselves, these are the teams Denayer needs to play against to progress to his potential, can't wait to see how he gets on. Sterling as lone striker as well? Lets see how he copes.
