I hope risking Stones doesn't backfire for his season. Didn't look fit at all, like he was trying to play at walking pace and only run as a last resort. Match-fit, I think he'd be doing a great job, as even despite him not being fully at it and making a couple of errors as you'd expect of someone in that position, they hardly looked like capitalising on it.
Fernandinho has looked like a man possessed at right back.

If we were clinical we'd be lightyears ahead of the rest. But I suppose it wouldn't be as exciting.

Every time a player plays a pass instead of shooting he adds a massive chance that he could mess up the pass, that it could be intercepted, may be miscontrolled

on the replay im not entirey sure the pass to foden was a slam dunk easy peasy pass and de bruyne was slowing up into an edge of the box sort of position

if you have a chance to shoot, shoot. theres only one way you can fuck it up

Such a fucking pity. Despite our obvious limitations, we have wasted a glorious opportunity to kill the game early...

A very serious test in terms of personality and composure ahead. Their front three will remain a concern till the very last second. Eddie should be very careful with his distribution. I don't expect Gabby to last for the whole game...

I expect the team to keep trying for goals but we have to avoid exposure at the back, CA situations etc. Hoping for a bigger impact from Phil...

When that sweet bit of skill by Foden and he kept it in and crossed that ball all i kept thinking was where's the forward, not having a go at Jesus by the way he's superb!! i just can't help Aguero is stood there...
