Like isn't a dead rubber a perfect game where Grealish can show he's not in the team to be a btec Nasri and actually show what he can do.... or is it all just deflecting and he actually is out of his depth?
“btec Nasri” pmsl.
I know it’s not the point you’re making but my best mate from school went the btec route and now earns more than twice what I do in his role as an accountant then FD.
Btecs, don’t knock ‘em!

Alvarez has shocked me. I thought after his two goals against Forest we had a real find and only Haaland was keeping him out. Since then anytime he's played he's been invisible. Yes I know it's early days blah blah blah but a massive improvement is needed there. Mahrez, well his form has fallen off a cliff. Only marginally less invisible than Alvarez and for a player of his ability and experience that's a real worry. Grealish flits in and out and flatters to decieve. Boring as hell and except for the Rags game and Forest and Bournemouth, where we expected to win, we have been pretty flat and boring to watch. We miss the pace and energy/experience of Sterling and Jesus.
And to think we let Jesus go, oh dear

Pep’s had some stern words at HT. Noticeable change in tempo/urgency already. Let’s hope it lasts.

Since Alvarez has been playing as a starter the team seems to have forgotten how to create scoring chances, and it's definitely not Alvarez's fault, so i think there's much bigger problems right now.
