2 outstanding goals but you have to feel for Southampton because they were by far the better team for 30 minutes. This is a performance of Champions doing what they need to do.

We had one week to prepare for this game tactically. I hope its not all Pelle could come up against Soton what we saw in first half.

He plays the same shite formation most weeks mate, so I don't know why you are surprised. The one performance where we dominate possession against a top side and put them away is where he had Milner on against Chelsea. Have we seen the same team since? Have we fuck.

What formation would you play with the players we have available? The only change we can possibly make is Navas for either Garcia or Rodwell. Other than that we will get mullered with 2 strikers on.

I would player Milner instead of Navas. He is instinctively a much deeper midfield than Navas, so will get involved and chip in around the middle a lot more. It's a small change, but makes a huge difference to how we control possession. Id also have Jovetic on instead of Nasri. He has a much higher work rate and appears to be a better player in general. Nasri has been gash in recent games, including today.

Don't really deserve that but good to see we stepped it up towards the end of the half.

Our second is miles offside by the way. They keep focussing on the initial ball to dzeko but it's dzeko's flick that makes silva about 5 yards off.

So, Edin scored one and played major part on both other goals...

What a turnaround for him lately...and some people were calling for Negredo instead of him before the game....no, you ride his form as of late, which has been fantastic.
