Title race is finished today

Quote this again. Amazing how some people fail to grasp a game of football lasts 90 minutes.

What I ment was the title is ours to lose. There is no race ;)

Just got in and seen score. Summary of first half?

We came out of the gates flying, got a peno from Dzeko. Then we looked like we got complacent and Southampton were on top to their (deserved) penalty. Nasri scores a goal in which Silva offside (but a nice move nonetheless) and Dzeko headed home from a brilliant cross from Aleks.
thanks

He plays the same shite formation most weeks mate, so I don't know why you are surprised. The one performance where we dominate possession against a top side and put them away is where he had Milner on against Chelsea. Have we seen the same team since? Have we fuck.

What formation would you play with the players we have available? The only change we can possibly make is Navas for either Garcia or Rodwell. Other than that we will get mullered with 2 strikers on.

I would player Milner instead of Navas. He is instinctively a much deeper midfield than Navas, so will get involved and chip in around the middle a lot more. It's a small change, but makes a huge difference to how we control possession. Id also have Jovetic on instead of Nasri. He has a much higher work rate and appears to be a better player in general. Nasri has been gash in recent games, including today.

Agree with bringing in Milner for Navas. Navas seems best suited to come on for 30 mins late in games for an injection of pace against tired opponents. When a team employs a high press, he's lost at sea.

Penalty after 2 mins, Yaya scores.

All southampton for the next 40 mins during which they get a penalty and Lambert scores it.

Silva was a good 3/4 yards offside but it wasnt given and he squared to Nasri, 2-1.

A few minutes later Aleks with a great cross that Edin put away, 3-1.

Get Edin and Samir off; they're fucking useless!

To be fair, most were defending Edin, but you cannot possibly be arguing that the tap in and the fairly simple pass (I made several like that yesterday in a community match) is enough to excuse the rest of Nasri's performance thus far?
If we do the same for the remaining games this season (ie; play shit and win), I'll take it!
