It's genuinely amazing to me that there has been so much angry discussion about VAR and referees and laws this season and no one in the media ever points the blame at Peter Walton.

Ultimately, Foden should have gone down. He gives the referee a decision to make at that point. No referee is going to blow his whistle if the player continues on his feet. VAR are going to look for anything that allows them to go with the referee’s initial decision. If the referee gives a penalty then there’s no way it gets overturned. Just go down!

He wasn't even told to go and check the monitor. So he's been told it's a clear no-penalty.

Fucking cunts. Go fuckyourselves you bent set of bastards.

Up the fucking blues.
That was an absolute shitout of a decision. Wvwry single personnin the studio and her and me could see it was a clear denial of goalscorimg chance even if he did get a tiny touch in the ball - because Phil was still going and the ball was still on a plate - if he hadn't been cleaned out!

As clear and obvious as you can get!
Not to mention the ref shitting out by not giving it in the first place!

Dis gus tang!

Anyway, sooo glad we rammed it right back down all of their raggish throats - with interest!

We've spoke to the VAR match centre and this is why Phil Foden didn't get a penalty...
"The on-field referee felt that Alex McCarthy got a slight touch on the ball, and VAR couldn't see anything to disprove that."
Lol what a fucking joke.. Who are they trying to kid how could Moss make that decision so far back?
