As we only needs a points target rather than finish top of the group I've been fascinated how were game managing it

It's all about the points at this stage. Try and control the game and don't need to go up the gears and we'll have two less CL games to play.

When we have the ball, we don’t have to consistently press them back so deep into their half. Just deliberately drop off 10-15 yards and they have to come up more,

Let them score and we’ll see a better game with more urgency

Memo to Pep...Back in the olden days we used to train with 4 defenders against 5 attackers in a third of the pitch. It was so easy just to let them come on to us and close the space. We only conceded when an attacker got to the deadball line and pulled it back to an oncoming attacker in space.
