Id love to see say Nunes and O Reilly in a midfield 2, would be nice to get some physicality back.

Absolutely over this trio of midgets (Lewis, Bernie, Gundogan) they have had plenty of chances, give the others a go.

Ah well, had a nice tea and come back to the Spurs 3rd. No idea why Pep thinks this midfield is still up to it for this match. Must be thinking of conserving legs for Tuesday night.

Can't even blame Pep, should of signed a capable DM as back up to Rodri.
We have downgraded the team on the transfer market 2 straight summers now, was about to happen. We cant keep replacing elite players with poor players and except the same result, but this is exactly what we have done. The most annoying thing is that it's not even that our transfers have been failures, most of them have delivered what we could expect. They were just poor signings from the start, made on not much other than hope that Pep can turn any mediocre player into a star. We got away with it last year, but reality is now catching up. Unfortunately an awful ending to an previously great era with Txiki at the club.
