I think he might make an early change if need be like against West Ham. Probably Sané

Watford defend for their lives against us and forget how to play football against Liverpool.
Unfortunatley they played Liverpool first, got hammered and are now shutting up shop to prevent the same happening again.

With sterling and sane perpetually running on both flanks we open more in between spaces for others to crash the box. If the right side is never stretched it’s easier for them to mass bodies

Teams now just play us with 11 behind the ball, with no intention of attacking, if they can snatch a draw, or just lose by one and keep the goal difference down they seem to be happy. Strangely they rarely do it against Liverpool, both Watford and Bournemouth played a really open game against them.

We have to be more creative in breaking these teams down, more width helps, Sane could make a difference, we could go three at the back as well and put Jesus on.
In fairness, our ability to keep control of the ball forces teams to retreat even further. Liverpool isn't as good of a possession team, so teams are more likely to see more counter opportunities against.

Counterintuitively, this works to the advantage of Liverpool. Coz they get to counter the counter attack. If you noticed we got 3 open ooooopportuni on the few occasions we lost possession and Watford thought they had something cooking.

We need to make them pay on the "Counter to a Counter" attack move. Pool lives off it. We lose possession enough to get as many of those.
