If Guardiola had any intention of using Nunes in the Rodri role, he’d surely have used him in there tonight. Looks like it’ll be Kovacic/Gundogan/Bernardo in there. Good half from a makeshift side.

Nunes has more chance of playing as a winger or even an inverted full back than he does of playing in our midfield.

McAtee has really quick feet and is good at playing wall passes into space when he has his back to goal. Would like to see Foden link with him when the spaces open up later.

surprised to still see so many of Grealish's shots and passes blocked by the first defender even against lower division opposition. Frustrating.

He just doesn’t have any turn of pace. Everything is that split second slower and it makes the difference.

That said he has done fairly well and I’m enjoying him rotating with nunes

I think Walker and Stones have been running the game from the back, Grealish and Doku also good, I think the young lads are growing into the game. Braitghwaite looked a bit out of his depth but has settled down well.

He hasn't played much this season, so I think he is just settling in after a long break. He hasn't started for us in an official match since May, so it's been a while.
