I'm forced to watch an American stream and the commentators said, verbatim: "The red card is a shame because West Brom could have been a banana skin." He went on to say the same phrase several times and lament the fact that Albion "weren't allowed to make it difficult for them", as if the sending off wasn't justified or we forced Dawson to make a bad early challenge.

It has been infuriating to listen to all of their anti-City comments (at one point, when Bony made the knock on for Lampard, one of them said "it's like they have been watching Barca" and the other responded "they had been" before they had a laugh).

Peter Drury and Jim Beglin who are the BT sport commentators also used by NBC

They are the syndicated premier league commentators for this match.

Every English language coverage is using them worldwide except whoever is showing it in the UK.

Bit "lucky" that they defender played such a sloppy back pass, but more importantly we cope well with 10 men, which not be automatically the case, esp. against a Pulis side.

I don't mind Aguero's selfishness, he needs a goal badly, but his determination and work rate seems very up to it. Why is he not always like that? You can just sense that he wants to deliver after the Barca game. Jamie Jackson would probably say that he just tries to big up his market value. :)

Bony must the MotM of 1st half, though.

Second half with no sound. I just can't cope with listening to the dulcet tones of the Chester raconteur.

I have a sport mode on my soundstage. On Sky it puts the (pundits/tits) well into the background and you can hardly hear them, but for some reason on BT is not as good. Perhaps it is his dull Welsh voice.
