I have said this many times, the ‘clear and obvious error’ threshold for VAR allows them to continue to attempt to influence match outcomes via officiating.

The ref didn’t immediately give the penalty on Grealish and no doubt they will come out later and say VAR found there was no “clear and obvious error” to require the ref to review the incident.

Clever again this game management from the ref,keeps the game in the balance by denying a stonewall pen,yet if by chance we don’t grab a second I wouldn’t be surprised if a wolves player falls over and he points to the spot,it’s clear as day what they are trying to do ..

I'm on an Oz stream, not sure who the ex-player comms is tbh but he mentioned playing with a Wolves players Dad at Liverpool and he was incredulous that it wasn't a penalty.
