so many times in great positions and the final ball is awful, along with corners, it's pointless having so much possession when you do nothing with it.

It's worked though. We should have 4/5 goals.
But we don't... Been the big problem this season, just not clinical at all.
And they have a better keeper

no i only saw your reply when i logged back on after the goal..id even already posted before i replied to you....
I said before the game with the line up that we would hugely struggle defensively and we have. Ive been saying for weeks that Ottomendi dives in all over the place and isn't good enough....that the fullbacks need replacing to play how Pep wants them to (and then to play two players at wing back who are so poor in that area is laughable)
Kolarov is a liability and hasn't got the pace to play this way either......and so it has been proved AGAIN!
Keep your head in the sand all you want but Im right. Pep needs to look at his personnel before deciding on his system(s)......we don't have the players to play in some of the ways he wants....
Ottomendi, Navas Kolarov are all liabilities on a weekly basis....increasingly so with Ottomendi
Go back and check my comments int he pre match thread if you think i am just reacting to your post......you will see you are wrong

Bad day at the office for sure. Has to be said we could have easily won this though. And they should be playing with 10 men.
This teams going to take windows to get right- years of signings with no real intent other than KDB. We must have one of the slowest and rash defences seen by a title chasing team in some time - if Kola can't keep up with a runner for 35 yards then he simply can't play there; if ota feels the need to dive in at the centre for every ball then he can't play there. I feel bad for Stones who can hardly start developing when his defence is made up of absolute laughable football players.
Something needs to change quickly. Nacho needs more game time for one - we have a world class striker that is playing like an average one. Today has been much improved compared to previous weeks but in a game we could and should have won by 2 or 3 we have now dropped 3 points - KDB and Aguero should shoulder the majority of that as their profligacy has been appalling.
Also, the ref today has had a mare, awful officiating for 90 minutes.
