I've just realized why this game has gone shit. We have basically made subs that weakened our team, and liverpool made subs to strengthen their side. Two negatives against us.

Been disappointed with Foden. Thought he would really light up in these games but he was miles better in last years pre season. Could just be an expectations thing.

A lot of these kids look miles away. A couple have really impressed though. Such a gulf between academy and pro.

It’s just through balls from Salah and Mane to each other. Need to be more aware. Someone needs to punish them for keeping so many men forward, they are basically reliant on these guys staying forward and making runs behind
