Even at 1-0 I really didn't like this formation. We are a midfielder light. There is no control as a result and when we lose possession we look more vulnerable. Playing wingers on the wrong side does my head in-Mahrez cutting in is fine for a counter attacking team but not when you sit on teams-it kills the space. Gundogan is needed to control the play.

The defending for their goal was just abysmal.

Started well and created a few decent chances that should have put us at least 2 up but since then we've seemed a little lethargic. Up our energy levels and runs off the ball and we should win this one.

Feel a bit sorry for Mahrez. He's an excellent player but not much is going right for him at all.

How does Mahrez not get to take free kicks is beyond me. What has Aguero shown that he has the mastery over it? Aguero and Silva just pulling rank over him.

Ok, but did you see the quality of his corners for example?

It's early in the season, we have new players like Mendy and Mahrez which allow Pep to tinker with the formation and the tactics. If we want to keep constantly improving this is something we should get used to, in Pep we trust?

Complacency setting in - team thinking they will just win it this year because they turned up on the field.

Pep needs to straighten this out right away.
