Slowed down towards HT but happy with the "soul" and some of the quick passing. Really interesting seeing the fullbacks tucking into CM

Caught everyone off guard by Sagna and Clichy moving right in the middle .Guess no one saw that coming.

It is going to take time lads. You can see what Pep is trying to do (dominate the midfield in possession with two additional players in the form of our fullbacks tucking inside) but we still have a ways to go on the slanting runs and drop back give-and-go passing up top which is required for this system to see its potential.

Not bad. You can see what we're trying to do, it's just not completely ingrained yet which is no surprise. I think we'll wear Sunderland down and grab another second half.

Why, he's not wrong. One curler from Nolito aside, we've created the sum total of fuck all, and we've played with zero tempo. Stones and Kolarov have been our best players. Says it all
