Danilo looks like he would be comfortable playing anywhere, his technique is absolutely sound.

Would like to see how he fares in the Fernandinho position at some point this season.

Sergio again looks a fish out of water, we can't keep playing into his feet to get the best out of him.

We look dodgy in the left back position and be good to see how much we are improved when Mendy is fit.

And Hart is a bigger mouth than I expected.

Very comfortable but we're lacking any intensity and not really created much. This is where i think 3-5-2 falls a bit short against teams that we're so dominant against. Take a centre back off, Get Walker on, Danilo switch to left back and push Sane right up. Get Sterling on for one of the strikers and go to the formation we saw last season. With a sitting midfielder and 3 centre backs we've got players not really doing much when in possession which must be about 80% of the time today, we can afford to push one further up
In other words 5-4-1? I think pep wants a squad that can play different formations to keep the opposition guessing. I am sure your changes will work but that is not want pep wants from this friendly.

How on earth some of the clowns on here think that was a bad performance is beyond me lol
Not a bad performance, just frustrating knowing it was no where near our best and some players are seemingly not taking it as seriously as they should (case in point, I count five separate attempts at ridiculous, very low probability flicks when simple passes were on).
