When you look at the dross served up by the dippers and rags, this is by far the best game of the weekend.

We have to maintain our concentration because they are playing well.

I think people are being far too hard on Fernando. He hasn't been great but he's done his primary job, he's sitting deep and making sure Newcastle haven't had a free run at our back 4, covering and slowing down counters when Clichy and Kolarov have gotten caught upfield. His recovery speed is something that really helps us, Garcia couldn't have done 3 or 4 of the plays Fernando has made already

That's true. At least when he loses possession he does seem to try and tackle back and retrieve the situation

Having a quick glance at this thread and the drama queens are out in force. At least while the match is on it will give their windows a chance to dry.

There's a bit of rust is all. They certainly haven't been as bad as what people are saying. Dzeko has been superb. Considering some of the lads have had virtually no pre-season, its not a bad performance by any stretch of the imagination.

Yup and whatever the result today this team will just get better and better. Set up for great things this season.
