For a start get Walker out of midfield. He doesn’t have the ball control and it leaves acres of space down the wing. I’d also either move Bernie back into midfield or take him off.

For me goes back to the chance Foden didn't square for Haaland, he squares that it's 2 and we're cruising.

Haaland wasn't really in the position for the pass this time though.

It was there right from the start.

We always struggle against super intensive teams in midfield.....Rodri and Gundo being overrun from the very beginning

We were much better defensively before Ake left the pitch.
Too many players half asleep and having a shit game all at once.

Can anyone explain why John Stones is on £250k a week? Given that he averages just 18 league starts a season was he really in a position to turn down £180k, or £200k even?
