Another pep mindmelt tactically?

Need to get Walker playing ASM out of the game and midfield to cut off the Newcastle long balls but that will mean change of starting tactics.

Pep not good at admitting mistakes tactically
Yeah, he’s never made tactical tweaks at halftime…

Random moment but thought it was odd when Walker avoided passing to Bernardo out side towards the end of the half. Bernardo was completely free but he cut back and found De Bruyne who had barely any space and who then just passed it to Bernardo.
The decision making from the players has been crap all game.

Being asked to play as CMs with NUFC set up to break down the line with speed in behind them!

Go back to a back four UNTIL THE MIDFIELD 3 START TO DOMINATE, or else we will continue to be overrun at the back.

Tuck Foden and Bernardo in for a temporary 4-5-1, then have them break wide…just like NUFC ARE DOING!!

Rodri getting mullered by two FBs who are playing shit in MF!!
Exactly, we need to play with full backs against speedy wingers and pack the midfield where we are being overun. I wouldnt mind sacrificing Foden for Philips to add a bit of muscle in the middle.

We have a colossal goal machine up front who scores goals for fun. We should be playing to his strengths. Give him the ball ffs.
We’ve not fucking signed him for his looks have we? Give him the fucking ball and he’ll put it in the net.

Is Phil just a tiny bit miffed that he isn't the golden boy anymore, and so is trying to get the goals to show he is No1? Who knows but he should have squared the ball two games running now, but shot from an awkward angle each time .

Everything is going wrong today for some reason... And northerners are very good...we need a miracle to turn over the game...
