I hate how we always blame the ref. It's not the ref.

it's that we don't take our chances and we play at 1mph against a fast counter attacking team.
It's also that they are able to counter attack, whereas every time we've turned the ball over, they've fouled us and got away with it. There were at least 3 yellow card fouls by Carvajal in that half, and any one of those being given changes the sort of defending he has to do. So yeah, it is the ref too.

They‘ve not been better than us at all. Aside from the goal they‘ve done the sum of fuck all. We‘ve had opportunities (if not outright chances) for De Bruyne, Rodri and Haaland.
It was a great goal, and we can readily admire them for their effectiveness/ruthlesness. But better than us so far? Nonsense.

He does need some protection though. Carvajal took his legs away on a counter, then shoved him into the hoardings and then barged him over. Any player would get pissed off being assaulted like that.
Yes but the City players need to let the ref do his job and decide (or not) on what action to take. Its not the City teams job to get involved in officiating...the players job is to use that anger against crappy officiating and channel it into working harder and running more. Rise above it blues...keep the faith, up the blues.
