i wouldn't expect that rodri back. no player retains their Athleticism after an ACL. even van dijk took 1-2 years to get back to being labelled the best in the league and he isnt the player he was. Sane never got the effortless pace back
It's true although after 2 years Van Dijk has nearly got his pace back but its his excellent anticipation that has put him among the top Central Defenders in the world. Rodri will need pace and I think that'll come back to 97 -98 % but it'll take1- 2 years as you say. . His interceptions, blocks and goal rate etc will come back . We do miss him.
Haaland being out tonight was a disaster because he has been excellent .

I would if I was techy enough but I'm sure you will see it somewhere..maybe someone else can screenshot it..even my Mrs saw it and said that's a pen..
mcpointy said it's a pen and he couldn't believe that VAR didn't give it

I reckon even if we were still in the game it would probably still not have been given

Probably the match officials, given they were 4 goals up.
Is that in their remit?
But as giving a legitimate penalty doesn’t appear to be then I’m not sure
It’s wrong I’ve seen it done in PL and possibly could deny a team another goal which as we know could win the PL

That’s because goal difference can be important in a league format.

When a team is getting battered 6-2, officials don’t tend to play as much injury time as they might if it were closer.

It’s always happened and probably always will.

I think if anyone can do it, it's Rodri. He's the ultimate professional.
Also pace has never been essential to his game.
It's his reading of the game which is on a different planet to anyone else.
I think within a couple of months it will be like he's never been away.

Did we? So if we'd have scored twice, they'd have gone through? Don't think so.

Once they scored after four minutes you numpty! We are then losing 4-2 and need three goals without reply to go through 5-4. Get it now???

Volume off mate, I started watching with no volume a couple of months ago, so much better not having to listen to some biased twat screeching and talking shite all the way through the game
Is the answer.

Just watch the match and form your own opinion of events.

Like cancelling the TV licence it's liberating.
