I’ve got to say Danilo is awful, absolutely all over the place and seems to lose every tackle. Yaya is good for nothing now, looks an old man.
 
This Shakhtar side would be pushing for top 4 in England and people just expect us to roll up to their home ground with our 2nd team in what is a must win game for ONLY them and expect to win?

I'm not saying we should play to lose but the odds were heavily against us from the outset.
 
Maybe a blessing showing Pep that outside of our first 13 or 14 players there are still those simply not good enough. Yaya for example should not be anywhere near this team, every time he plays we revert to being statues and look like a Pellegrini version two team. Mangala and Danilo are very disappointing and Danilo in particular either needs to step up or he'll be gone. Wonder if Pep's comments about not wanting anyone who doesn't want to be here was aimed at Danilo? Will probably mean we look to add a couple in January to keep the momentum going in the second half. Foden, Bernardo and Gundogan deserve a pass being either young, coming back from major injury or settling down into the league - people forget that Bernardo is only 23 and not played that many first team games - he'll be fine.
