Silva has to cover so much ground in this role without actually using his skills set

Its nice to have some legs in there though mate. When they tire a bit in the 2nd half, I fancy Bernardo to get a bit more time on the ball. He seems to be the glue that is allowing Rodri and KDB to play their games.
I think the midfield 3 has a nice balence to it.

I don’t actually think Mahrez has been that bad. Generally, his ball retention has been excellent, he has skinned his opponent twice to get to the byline, he played a lovely pass to KDB on one counter than most players we have would have got wrong. He skied a shot, yeah. But I don’t see a horrific performance at all. And I don’t particularly like him either.

No,he isnt having a stinker,but he gets lazy and too casual which causes big problems as the opposition often break as a result.He needs to know when to pass/cross or clear the ball too,he does far too many poncey little flicks or swivels when more often than not the more simple approach would be better.

Mahrez's general play has been pretty good ..... but his final ball, and shooting skills do need improvement!

Kev needs to slow down, he’s trying to run past people who are faster than him and he’s messing up passes.

Excellent first half in these conditions-will need the subs with a lot of tired players. Defended set plays well so far.

It really annoys me when footballers consistently sky shots for some reason

Really good half, although there were signs that Sheffield were getting back into it in the last 5-10 minutes. Should really be more than one up, hope it doesn't come back to bite us on the arse.

Better overall, just need that second goal......lol at the "commentary team" wanting the rain cos it suits SU more. Serves em right if the dippers pitch turns into a bottomless quagmire for their game and the hammers do em, heres hoping.
