Regarding Mahrez watch, think he’s worked himself into some really good positions with really good pieces of skill but just hasn’t succeeded with that final ball. He’s done pretty poor stuff aswell, bit of a mixed bag from him so far but certainly not a horror show!

Hope we can come out second half and carry on where we left off.. We seem to switch off in the dressing room sometimes and let the opposition off the hook. I don’t actually think Mahrez has been bad at all. Generally, his ball retention has been excellent, he has skinned his opponent twice to get to the byline, he played a lovely pass to KDB on one counter than most players we have would have got wrong. He skied a shot, yeah. But I don’t see a horrific performance at all. And I don’t particularly like him either.

He takes unnecessary risks in unnecessary areas that invariably result in a turnover of procession and a shot on our goal. At his age he should know when to try the tricks and when to do simple things, his great footballing skills are not applied correctly which makes him a frustrating player to watch.

He lost a yard with the knee injuries, its a shame. Not quite the counterattacking threat he once was. The Kev who arrived from Wolfsburg would have 3 assists in this game.

I would like to see KDB drop further back into a Pirlo type of role in a couple of years.

Which he does well, but he’s so much better than just covering ground! We need to find a way of getting more out of him, a switch to the right might help that.

Kind of match where if you dont finish your chances Sheffield wil score with their first on target shot and get a point in the end.

We need to punish them with the chances we create.

Torres shoud have scored that close one, Sterling provided great assist for that.

Based on the stats, way of play its a huge fuck up if we dont go back home with all 3 points.
