Sterling made no attempt to play the ball, so it's clearly a foul. It's just never given and will given as and when it suits the refs, as seen by Kolarov not getting a penalty.

Pulling and holding I can understand but putting your fingertips on a player and being penalised is utter nonsense.

But he wasn't watching the ball similar to if you jump into a player for a header not watching the ball it's a foul
